We have developed an exciting social programme for attendees to network with their friends and colleagues whilst experiencing British hospitality.
Welcome Reception - Monday 29 April, 18:30-23:00, London ExCeL
Be our guest as we welcome you to London with an evening of networking and fun. Drinks and canapes will be served from 18:30 in the Exhibition Hall; the evening will continue in the Platinum Suite with a tasting of local cheeses, wine and a DJ until 23:00.
The Welcome Reception is included in the Full Conference ticket only. If you are only attending one day and wish to attend, tickets can be purchased at £70.00 incl. VAT per person. Accompanying persons will need to purchase a ticket to attend the Welcome Reception.
Post-graduate Evening - Tuesday 30 April, 18:15-19:15, Platinum Suite at London ExCeL
On behalf of ICARE and the Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to join us at the post-graduate evening on Tuesday 30 April 2019. This event will allow you to mingle with fellow colleagues and meet institutions currently offering internships, residencies and post graduate courses. This will be an exciting opportunity to find out about these courses and chat to people from around the world to see what might be right for you.
This event is open to delegates with the Full Conference or 30 April day ticket.
Gala Dinner - Wednesday 1 May, 18:45-01:00, The Brewery, City of London
Join us for a special evening at The Brewery, a historic venue in the heart of the City of London, and the site of the former Whitbread Brewery from 1750 to 1976.
This is a great opportunity to network with your friends and colleagues whilst enjoying great food and British entertainment, including a traditional Scottish Ceilidh (pronounced ‘kay-lee’), an English fair with games and face-painting, and a DJ playing the best dance hits.
You will also be able to bid for exclusive prizes during a silent auction to raise money for our chosen charity, Secret World Wildlife Rescue. They rescue or advise the public on over 5,000 sick, injured and orphaned wildlife per year, with the aim of preventing British wildlife from suffering needlessly and to inspire an understanding and love of wildlife and the countryside.
Coach transfers from the Gala Dinner back to the ExCeL campus will be provided from 23:00-01:00.
Places for the Gala Dinner are limited and subject to availability. You can book your place when you register, or by emailing email@example.com. Tickets are £90.00 incl. VAT per person and include a drinks and canapes reception, three-course sit-down dinner, entertainment, and return coach transfer to the ExCeL campus.
